Personal Data Protection Law
Wide-spreading digitalization has brought with it the concept of "protection of personal data". Data protection has become crucial not only for the protection of the rights and freedoms of individuals but also for the security and protection of the legal rights of companies and institutions.
While the "Personal Data Protection Law", which was legalized by the TBMM(Turkish Grand National Assembly), brought regulations regarding personal data, it also determined the legal framework, institutional and personal responsibilities, and obligations regarding the protection of data.
In this context, there are a number of obligations that natural and legal persons storing personal data must comply with, and there is a risk of facing heavy sanctions if not complied with.
Advocacy and legal consultancy services are provided in order for our clients to fulfill their obligations under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and not face the sanctions mentioned above.
